Salted Caramel

Caramel is one of the best examples of something being greater than the sum of its parts. Start with sugar, add heat, and voila, magic right before your eyes. Technically it’s called the Maillard Reaction, but we like to say it’s GBD- Golden brown and delicious. We cook our sugar in a big copper pot to just this side of smoking, add cream, butter, and sea salt, then mix it with our beautiful milk and cream. Luscious and creamy, with a wee bit of salt to round out the sweetness, you’ll be hooked after one spoonful.
